Website privacy policy

1. Who we are and what this covers

SUPEREO LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 15222385. Registered office: Ground Floor, 66 High Street, Lewes, England, BN7 1XG. We are the controller of personal information handled for this portfolio website and enquiries sent to us through its contact links. Contact us at ben@supereo.dev or our registered office.

This notice covers this portfolio website only. It does not cover KnightBound, QuickChess, Cat Tennis or any other game. Games, app stores and third-party services have separate privacy notices.

2. Information handled through the website

When you visit, requests to the website’s hosting service include technical information such as your IP address, requested pages and files, request times and browser information. Hosting services may record this information for delivery, security and troubleshooting. Netlify provides the website’s hosting and infrastructure.

If you email us, we receive your email address, any name you provide, your message and any attachments. Providing this information is voluntary, but we need sufficient information to respond. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.

The current website has no account registration, purchase checkout, newsletter sign-up, contact form or analytics or advertising scripts installed by us. Its game and social buttons are links, not embedded social feeds.

3. Why we use information

We use technical information to deliver the website, keep it secure and investigate faults. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: maintaining a working and secure portfolio website.

We use enquiry information to reply, discuss opportunities and manage correspondence. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests in handling business enquiries. If you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you, processing necessary for those steps may instead rely on that basis. We may retain or disclose information where needed to meet a legal obligation.

4. Cookies, fonts and external links

The current website code does not set cookies or use local storage for analytics, advertising or visitor tracking. External websites have their own cookie and privacy practices.

Some interface fonts load from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to request them, disclosing your IP address and request information. We use these requests to display the site’s typography, relying on our legitimate interest in presenting the portfolio. See Google Fonts privacy information and Google’s privacy policy.

Apple, Google Play, TikTok and LinkedIn process information under their own notices when you follow their links. An email link opens your email application; it does not send a message until you choose to send it.

5. Who receives information and where it is handled

Website hosting and email service providers handle technical requests and correspondence to provide their services. We may also share information with professional advisers or authorities where necessary for advice, legal obligations or legal claims. We do not sell enquiry information.

We use Netlify to host this website and IONOS to provide email services. These providers and their infrastructure partners process information needed to operate those services. See the Netlify privacy statement, Netlify data protection information and IONOS privacy policy for information about their processing. Netlify’s infrastructure and Google’s font service can involve processing outside the UK, including in the United States. Applicable protections can include adequacy decisions or contractual transfer safeguards, depending on the service and destination. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your information.

6. How long information is kept

We keep enquiry correspondence only while needed to answer an enquiry, manage any resulting business relationship and meet applicable record-keeping or legal-claim needs. Relevant criteria include whether the enquiry is resolved, whether the relationship continues and whether a legal requirement or dispute requires retention. We delete information when it is no longer needed for those purposes. Technical logs and backup copies are subject to the providers’ service retention and deletion arrangements, taking account of operational security, recovery needs and legal requirements. You can contact us about retention of information relating to you.

7. Your rights and complaints

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. If processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.

Contact ben@supereo.dev to make a request or raise a concern. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. You do not have to contact us first.

8. Changes

We will update this notice when the website or our handling of personal information changes and show the revision date. Material new uses will be communicated as required. Game data is covered by the relevant game’s separate privacy policy.
